Inspired by the surroundings where I enjoy spending the summer, the beautiful coastline of Särö, south of Gothenburg in Sweden.
For me, blue mussels are a symbol of the sea—something I'm deeply drawn to. Their natural beauty and incredible sheen capture the essence of the ocean, its calm and mystery. I use them in my art because they connect me to the water and the natural world.
